Our 4th graders have been diving into the history and culture of the Hidatsa, Mandan, and Arikara Tribes of North Dakota! These three agricultural tribes lived in earthlodges and had rich traditions we’ve been learning all about. To bring their learning to life, students created paper-mâché bowls and added their own decorative touches—and they turned out amazing! We’re so proud of their creativity and curiosity!

Friday Fun in First!
We had a blast wrapping up our weather unit by making colorful pinwheels—and they actually spin! We also got moving with some whole body math. Learning + fun = the perfect Friday!

Our 4th and 5th graders had an amazing day of hands-on learning and fun in Cavalier at Marketplace for Kids! They explored creativity, innovation, and even got a glimpse of what it’s like to be young entrepreneurs. So proud of our students for representing our school with curiosity and enthusiasm!

Our puppets finally took center stage!
After weeks of dreaming up stories and creating our puppet characters, we finally got to bring our puppet show to life yesterday! The students poured their hearts into every detail—and the joy on their faces while performing was truly magical.
Such a special moment of creativity, teamwork, and pure fun!

Our students made the most of the wet spring snowfall by rolling giant snowballs and building some snowmen! Just when we thought recess couldn’t get any better, Mother Nature delivered one more round of winter fun!

Our March Madness Book Tournament has come to an exciting finish, and our 2025 Book of the Year is The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak! 🎉

It was a close competition, and we had some standout performances! Our All-Star Team featured the top three point-getters from each grade, and Mrs. Berry's Preschool earned special recognition for 100% participation! 👏
Each class proudly wore their team colors, and we cheered each other on with the help of Mr. Hysjulien and the Pep Band. To top off the celebration, we enjoyed delicious "Wanita Cost" cupcakes—the perfect sweet ending to Reading Month!
